Body language is always present, even without words. Through gestures, movement, and facial expressions, it helps us communicate emotions often more clearly than speech. While it’s seen as a universal language, it’s also shaped by culture and context.

01
We explored how love is expressed through body movements like eyes, hands, and posture. These subtle gestures often happen unconsciously. By collecting and reinterpreting them, we created a visual way to say “I LOVE YOU” without using words.
02
Series 1 – 10 visual/sensory distortions of language
Series 2 – 10 visual/sensory deconstructions of language

03
Interaction between one and himself

Interaction between two different objects

Multi-object interaction

final work

When we capture and archive gestures, do they lose their meaning or gain new ones?
How does seeing ourselves from the outside, through delay and manipulation, shift our self image?

How does breaking the body into fragmented, scaled, flipped, and time distorted parts affect our sense of identity and can these isolated pieces still reflect who we are or how we feel?

What happens to our sense of self when the body is no longer seen as a whole, but as scattered fragments?

Can movement, delay, and distortion reveal emotional states or a deeper sense of presence and absence?
